About Our Firm:

Snure Law Office, PSC is a full service law firm located in Des Moines, Washington. The firm was founded by Clark Snure in 1964 and has provided professional, efficient and economical legal representation to municipal clients throughout the State of Washington for over 45 years.

Our municipal clients range in size from small all volunteer fire districts located in rural areas to large urban districts and regional fire authorities. Although our offices are located in Des Moines we currently represent over 100 municipal clients throughout western and eastern Washington. Through association with Joseph Quinn and Thomas Burke, both of whom are of counsel to Snure Law Office, we are able to provide a full range of timely and efficient legal services that serve the needs of a wide variety of clients.

Seminar For Newly Elected/Appointed and Experienced Commissioners, Chiefs & Secretaries:

Fire District Attorney Brian Snure will present this program for new and experienced commissioners, chiefs and secretaries. This seminar will provide the knowledge and background needed to understand and address many issues facing Fire Districts and Regional Fire Authorities. Topics for this full-day program, which is being held in Spokane and Ocean Shores, include the following:

Social Media Use in Daily Operations/Legal Aspects and Record Management:

As the popularity of social media increases, so do the legal ramifications for its use. Come join us for an insightful four hour session presented by Mr. Brian Snure of Snure Law Office, as he covers the legal and record management aspects of using social media in daily operations. Mr. Snure will review various social media formats and through discussion and the use of hypotheticals will explore the legal and record management issues that arise when these formats interact with the Washington State Public Records Act and the Department of Archives Records Retention Schedules.

24th Annual Snure Seminars Pre-Conference Laws Update Seminar:

Please join attorney Brian Snure on Wednesday evening October 24, 2012 before the WFCA Annual Conference from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the Yakima Convention Center for a fun and informative evening reviewing changes in the law that affect the operation of your Fire District or Regional Fire Authority. We will review changes in State and Federal legislation, administrative law developments and relevant court cases.

Over the past 40 years, the firm has represented over 300 different special purpose districts on various matters.

Our fire protection district clients range in size from small all volunteer districts located in rural areas to large urban fire districts. Although our offices are located in Des Moines we currently represent districts throughout Washington including districts in Kittitas, Whatcom, Whitman, Spokane, Grant, Jefferson, Clark, Mason, Skamania, King, Pacific, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, Benton, Lewis, Cowlitz and Walla Walla counties.
